Come along & make your very own unique drum lampshade.

Meet like-minded creators for a fun session to make your very own unique lampshade. I will demonstrate the techniques as well as share hints & tips on how to make a professional shade and at the conclusion of the workshop you get to take your bespoke lampshade home.

Choose between 20cm diameter (£48) or 30cm diameter (£52) drum lampshade.

What will happen at the workshop?

This workshop is suitable for all ability levels where you will learn all about suitable fabric choices for making lampshades, different lampshade fittings and how to create a fabulous statement shade for your home or a gift for a loved one!  Along the way you will have a bit of chat and ‘craic’ as well as work alongside like-minded creatives and you may even make new friends.

The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours and will include:

• Welcome tea / coffee & sweet treat on arrival.

• Step by step demonstration - paced for all abilities.

• 1:1 guidance and ‘elbow’ support as you make your shade.

• You will have your very own creation to take home and enjoy!

• You can choose either a 20cm diameter lampshade (suitable for bedside/bottle lamp base) or a 30cm diameter lampshade (suitable for table lamp base or ceiling pendent)

What is Provided & What Do I Need to Bring?

The shade kit and parts needed to make the lampshade will be supplied, excluding the fabric.

Please bring along your own fabric (key info will be emailed to you with further details regarding fabrics once you register and have paid). Alternatively, there will be a small selection of beautiful fabric pieces available on the day to purchase.
